The saying goes, ‘expect the unexpected.’ But when it really happens, no one knows what to do or say when the unexpected shows up. They just stare, mouths agape with not a thought to their shocked minds. It was Thanksgiving Dinner, and my mother had invited both sides of the family to join us.
