My eyes filled with tears as the familiar sound of a flat heartbeat drifted through the air. I wish i didn't know what was going to happen next. I couldn't go through this again. we had to escape. The only thing left was to figure out how. How to escape our fate, our pain, our destiny. All things left up to us, all I knew is it wouldn’t be easy. My birth mothers passing was one of the hardest things for us to witness I was only eight years old and my little brother jack was 5. we immediately were placed into foster care....
