“Mark, what the fuck!” It wasn’t a question so much as it was a demand for an explanation. Bree’s boyfriend knew she would be coming home with groceries, yet he hadn’t come out to help her when she’d pulled into the driveway and blown the horn. Now she stumbled into the condo, barely able to hang on to the handful of bags as she struggled to remove her key from the lock.
