When that Seraph agreed to transport me to a “White Space”, I didn’t expect the name to be so appropriate. Here, a single, homogenous void stretches in all directions. Looking down, my gut drops. I wouldn’t have been able to tell I was standing on the ground without feeling it pushing back against my boots. The unsettling lack of a shadow doesn’t help to improve my disorientation either.
