It was a beautiful day for a funeral. Not that dreary, rainy, gray cliché kind of day. The sun was shining, a few thick clouds drifting high above. Not too hot, not too cold, that goldilocks kind of day.  The funeral hadn’t been cheap. Nothing ever was.
