This is an allegory of a boxing match between Thanksgiving and Pride. It is written as if it was reported on a radio station. Blows and punches are given names. I have given up trying to get published. I write my stories for some ladies in assisted living home. Like me, most are former farm wives. They connect wth my stories. I also send my stories and devotions to 10 people by email. I do not write for Reedsy to win the contest. I write because I have a drive to. However I will still be following stories on my activity feed. And occasionally put a story on Reedsy. I am a Christian by repenting and believing in Jesus as my Savior. I have had a few devotions published and self published a book called "Effective Praying for the Government".
