Summer was just around the corner, and this late spring Sunday started off magnificently. Warm, sunny, and a gentle easterly breeze wafting out over the calm, Indian ocean. This is a true story.Nick, Judy and Rob (that's me) were three nerdy strangers studying Computer Science at Curtin university during the 1990s. Living in my family home was not ideal. With two brothers and two sisters it was not only overcrowded but noisy, making study very difficult. Initially the conversation was light-hearted and chatty, but changed once our meals were served. The were six of us in our group trying out a new Asian style restaurant for the first time and it didn't take long for the complaints to surface. My seafood is overcooked, my calamari is like rubber, my chicken is raw and where are our drinks?
