The Girl Who Lived is Bianca Bourgault who is a recovering alcoholic at 29 years young. In her writing, Ms. Bourgault weaves the themes of what is life? death? and survival? during an untimely pandemic. She hopes that her writing helps those struggling with addiction and to bring awareness who are lucky enough not to know the battle. She wishes to give hope that recovery is possible, even during a pandemic.
