The wind whipped at my cloak, nipping at my bare face as I trudged along the mountain pass. The familiar path was shrouded in supernatural darkness, and the full moon was hidden behind a thick blanket of clouds. As I neared a bend in the path, I noticed the mouth of a cave that had never been there before.
