April Pereira was born in Fall River, Massachusetts - a place with a long history of murder, mayhem, and hijinx - and spent her teen years traversing the West Coast. Never one to stay still, as an adult she continued bouncing between the East and West coasts of the US while working in a variety of industries from education to publishing and public policy to community advocacy. Today you'll find her making "good trouble" as an outreach coordinator for her local history museum.
