There is a theory that we living beings are actually just chaotic layers of thought, fooling ourselves about our state of consciousness. This is foolish, wrongheaded and utterly ridiculous as we are in fact chaotic layers of stories spiralling around fooling ourselves about our state of consciousness.
Adam Pierce’s stories frequently jump out of his head and take on a life of their own. He is a community ecosystems specialist with degrees in Sustainable Design and Creative Writing from the Evergreen State College. He has concluded a graduate degree in Biology with a focus in Biomimicry and Integrated Bio-science from the University of Akron. Adam crafts random objects, experiments with projects, and spends much of his time volunteering to support various communities. Adam served as the University’s connection to the Regional Educator’s Consortium and the Akron City School District, helping to support that same ecosystem of nature-inspired innovation. He has run non-profit initiatives, small businesses, and community planning bio-design charrettes. And once that got boring the call of stories got too strong and he earned an MFA in writing from Lindenwood University.
He grew up surrounded by stories, songs and myths. Adam is developing a voice-acting portfolio and has written several novels for which he is seeking publication.
