Ann G Forcier (Acadiann) was a freelance journalist for 20 years before turning her hand to historical fiction. Her short story The Promise was a finalist in the 2023 History through Fiction Short-Story Contest.
AG developed and led Writing to Heal and Rock&Write courses for college students and adult learners. Ann is also a registered poetry therapist (PTR) who uses a variety of narrative and writing tools in her psychotherapy practice. Her poetry is published in The Journal of Unknown Poets and Heliotrope: French Heritage Women Create.
