Her lips curling in disgust, Cassandra retrieved her blade from the man’s abdomen and turned around. Instead of stopping to catch her breath though, she was forced to immediately jump back after catching the glint of the sword racing towards her neck. In her haste, she tripped over the now dead body of her previous opponent and fell heavily to the ground.
