June 8th 2024 As mandated by my therapist I will be writing a gratitude journal every day for three months. It’s supposed to help with my bad mood that everyone is calling depression. The bandaged wound on my wrist itched terribly but I did not remove the wrappings. I was afraid of what I might see. I hugged my knees closer to my body as the cold air encroached around me. My name is Andy, I've been writing for myself for about three years and only recently started participating in Reedsy's competitions. My favorite genres are scifi and horror, but if im being perfectly honest im very impressionable by the whatever I watched or read recently. I aim to be a full fledged author but for now im satisfied with writing short stories and continueing to gradually improve myself.
