My hands finally stop moving. “You’re tired,” says D, my closest friend. “You’ve worked a lot today.” I believe it because my body feels heavy against the chair. We're 25,000 feet above ground as I look at the photos from the day before and a tear escapes my eyes. I stop to admire the handsome man sitting next to me whose hand is still clutching one mine even as he snoozes.
