“Learning to read and write again , after suffering a brain haemorrhage, really made me appreciate these capabilities after they were temporarily ‘removed’!
Are you familiar with the phrase ‘I get knocked down, but I get up again’, well, I have had my ‘fair share’ of voluntarily falling down, and I am aware that I still make a few mistakes, especially when I rush my my work!
The damage that I suffered to my brain , way back’ in 1993, was when I was 24 years old!
I wasn’t expected to survive, or live beyond my early forties, but I have recently enjoyed my 57th birthday!
Writing is a good way for me to keep my brain active, and previously being both a graphic designer, and then a goldsmith and jewellery designer & maker, are jobs that I can’t do successfully anymore, but writing is another way of expressing my thoughts and ideas!
“Please can I have some more feedback from fellow writers, with your thoughts, suggestions that could help me improve my writing?
Thank you for reading and take care of yourselves, yours faithfully Andrew.
