This week has been a trial. On Monday the traffic was appalling and I was fifty minutes late to work. There were roadworks on my route this week but I never thought they’d hold me up that much. I have never felt worthy of the love of others. I’m not sure why. I came from a warm and loving home but I never thought that I would find my one true love. Before my parents died and left me alone, they’d always tell each other the story of how they met and fell in love.
