Amy And is a Nurse Practitioner and former “Mind Body” columnist. She has always been a writer. Her work spans a range of subjects, including adolescent addiction and assessment (Journal of Pediatric Healthcare), local travel (52 Perfect Days, Tampa: A Town in Transition), and science writing as a contributor to Decoded Science. She is also the author of the blog Prince the Feral. Her poem “No Words” appeared in A Celebration of Poets. A past winner of the National Scholastic Magazine short story contest, she continues to write fiction and nonfiction inspired by her work as a yoga and meditation teacher, a Humane Society volunteer, and an advocate for the feral cat community.
