Ivy was glad to be gone. It had not been a difficult decision — choosing to rewrite her future, to leave home. Home was where Poppy was, and that made it a place she didn’t want to be.  She had come first, Ivy reminded herself; she was older, not Poppy. Maturer, too. Less empty-headed.
