tw: brief mentions of body image-1956Cindy is 14.  Sometimes, when I close my eyes at night I see a woman.  She drips with jewelry and burgundy silk.  Gold lays on her neck softly, coiling around her wrists in dainty loops. Her hair is in pins and her teeth are the color of paper.  I see her now, on the stage.
