Anna winced as the removal men bashed her 8 ring gas range into the front door frame of her new house. They also threw her boxes of rare Northern Soul vinyl onto the wooden floor without a care in the world. By the time I stepped outside the leaves were on fire, glowing like red embers in the twilight of the sinking sun. A chill breeze caught my collar and whipped it up around my chin, and I pulled my coat closer to keep out the bite of the wind. Our car pulled into Aunt Juno's road. Dad tutted and grumbled under his breath. Mum turned round to me and the baby. "Now kids, we won't be too long, okay?
