It was the strangest sensation. The sudden and startling awareness of my existence. My surroundings, muted and haunting. The air rushing past and the ghostly whispering of the wind caused my mind to lurch and fumble to make sense of what was going on. Panic exploded in my mind, as the fog faded and I realized I could not remember who I was, or where I was for that matter.
