A.L. Shilling was born and raised in Southern California. She relocated to Michigan to get her BS from Calvin University. She spent a brief time back in Southern California earning her Master’s Degree from USC, then returned to Michigan and has been living the Midwestern life ever since. She is a dancer and choreographer for a professional dance company. She runs The Green Shoe Sanctuary, a free indie e-magazine for budding new authors to showcase their works for the public. In her spare time, she enjoys writing short stories in a variety of genres from Horror to Feel-Good Fantasy.
