In excavating old writing projects, I unearthed a projection that by the time I was 83.5, I'd have failed to accomplish three-quarters of the things I had promised to myself. This is me, trying to fulfill an ancient and dusty dream. As a younger, wiser (?) RC Riggs once wrote: There are so many things I've told myself I'll do "someday", but what if someday never comes? I think I might have to make TODAY someday, at least for this. That'll be my mantra for the year: Today is someday, someday is today.
