Phi Alpha Theta awards six prizes annually for outstanding papers written by members of the honor society. The essays should combine original historical research on significant subjects, based on source material and manuscripts if possible, with good English composition and superior style. Papers should not exceed 25 double-spaced pages in length and must be submitted by mail.

At Caring.com, we understand the demanding lifestyle of student-caregivers and the challenges they may face. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students who are caring for an adult relative while enrolled in college. Two scholarships of $1,500 are awarded each year to student-caregivers to help cover costs of tuition and books.

In an effort to get students committed to the cause of deleting cyberbullying, we are offering the Delete Cyberbullying Scholarship Award for high school, college and graduate student — a $1,000 scholarship to help cover educational expenses. The mission of AEL is in its strong belief in "American exceptionalism", i.e., that our country is exceptional in the history of the world. This essay contest is an opportunity for undergraduate students to express their equally strong belief in American exceptionalism. Essay should be between 1,500-2,000 words, including any footnotes or bibliographic citations.

The H. Thomas Austern Writing Competition is intended to encourage law students interested in the areas of law affecting FDA-regulated industries. Winners are awarded $750 for first place, $500 for second, and $250 for third, and a complimentary one-year FDLI membership. Top papers will be considered for publication in the Food and Drug Law Journal.

The Helen Lansdowne Resor Scholarship offers its awardees a $10,000 scholarship to put toward their education, an internship at Wunderman Thompson, and other mentorship and post-graduate opportunities. Any female undergraduate or postgraduate student with at least a year left of their studies is eligible. Applicants must submit personal statement, letters of recommendation, and 3-5 creative samples.

The purpose of the James B. Boskey Student Essay Competition is to create greater interest in the field of dispute resolution among law students. The essay may address any aspect of dispute resolution practice, theory or research that the contestant chooses. Essays must be limited to 15-30 typewritten pages, including footnotes or endnotes.

The purpose of the scholarship is to assist individuals exploring the study of exhibition management with the end goal of advancing their careers in this field. To apply, students must submit an essay (500-1,000 words) explaining their goals and desired roles in the exhibitions and events industry.

For this year's competition, please write a persuasive, personal essay (300-350 words) about why you reject religion and think others would be better off doing so too. The William J. Schulz Essay Competition is open to all North American high school seniors graduating this spring and attending college or university in the fall.

Leroy F. Aarons dedicated his life to journalism and advancement of the LGBTQ community. This scholarship award will provide up to $5,000 in tuition funding to an LGBTQ student who plans a career in journalism and is committed to furthering NLGJA’s mission of fair and accurate coverage of the LGBTQ community.

The Bethesda Auxiliary, in partnership with AbleLight, offers scholarships worth $3,000 that will be awarded to Lutheran-affiliated junior and senior students pursuing undergraduate degrees in any academic area that will prepare them to serve and support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. To apply, you must write a 250-300 word essay on how your intended academic course of study will achieve this.

This scholarship is intended to encourage young people to pursue learning and spread the message about the gift of sight through eye donation. To apply, students must reside in New York City or a nearby area, and complete a short essay describing an educational or public service initiative in which the student participated that promoted eye, organ and tissue donation.
