Christian Friendship Inspirational

“Sunset and evening star,

And one clear call for me!

And May there be no moaning of the bar,

When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,

Too full for sound and foam,

When that which drew from out the boundless deep

Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,

And after that the dark!

And May there be no sadness of farewell,

When I embark;

For though from out our bourne of Time and Place

The flood may bear me far,

I hope to see my Pilot face-to-face

When I have cross’d the bar.(AT)

Temptation does not take a back seat.

To patience.

Forbearance

The patience of a saint instructs us.

Tells us this is to be true.

Do we listen.

Do we hear.

Do we ignore.

Because it is not

“Sexy.”

Practice makes perfect.

Adam.

Eve.

Apple.

Half a rib.

A slab of ribs.

Sounds preposterous.

Yet.

We wait.

For our turn.

At the lunch table.

We wait and we wait and we wait.

There is only so much rice a person can consume. Digitally or orally.

Thought you had us at the word “go.”

But. You were misguided. Mishandled by the information vigorously at your own fingertips.

Start bowing at someone, anyone? To pretend benevolence. Your next move: Move to the back of the line.

It is too late.

The movement of goodness is on to you.

Perhaps it is time for you to go home…..help your own brothers and sisters on your homeland soil. Stop using the landscape of another for your “benefits.” Gain of function. Here, as the guest that you are, others come before you. No fair hiding behind the faces of others.

Oh, you were good. Very good. At infiltration of all things honest and good. ‘ Round these parts, merit takes a front seat to your techno back seat.

We know now. You are afraid. Very afraid.Have batted the batted eyes and balls as much as you could humanly possibly engage. And now the gig is up. Your gig is up. Our apologies for your misfortune. We have work to do to unravel the tightly wound knot you pulled in order to get your way.

The gig is up.

You preyed upon the weak, the tired, the hungry.

Your underestimation befalls, you.

Base up blockheads.

Pay up, too.

Riding a tricycle and citizen anchoring is both documented.

And under appreciated.

Please remember this.

as you embark on your next journey on foot.

I see you have taken up all things prayer. Prayer and community. Just one of the many ways infiltration can occur. We know. We have seen it before. Here. On our pristine lands and waters.

Fish have a way of de-manning themselves. But then again. You already knew that. The more vulnerable, the better, say you.

What you may not realize is that although God does not keep score. I would not bank on it, just yet. Either go home. Or. Get with the program. Times are changing. Fast. Furious.

You have been watching and not engaging for too long. You have only yourselves to blame.

He forgives.

Those who repent.

I reckon that is not in your vocabulary. Too, “uncomfortable.”

Bowing to the wrong man, are you.

Pity those that do not get Who is in charge.

The Injustice of Mere Suspicion.

Warren Horton Stuart

A certain man lost an axe. He at once suspected the son of his neighbor had stolen it. When he saw the boy walking by, the boy looked like a fellow who had stolen an axe; when he listened to the Boy’s words, they sounded like those of a boy who had stolen an axe. Later when digging a ditch, the man found the lost axe. The next day, he saw again his neighbor’s son, but in all the boys manners and actions, there was nothing like a boy who had stolen an axe. The boy had not changed, but the man himself had changed!

And the only reason for this change lay in his suspicion.

Yes.

He knows our hearts.

He knows our words, deeds and actions.

What is normal, what is abnormal.

What the circumstances may be.

When crossing the bar to get to the other side.

It would behoove you to get with the program. Respect those that you do not want to. They are the ones holding your fate in their hands.

But.

You were too busy being tempted by the fruits of another.

Over and over. And over and over.

How shall we say, “Workin’ it.”

Until someone said,

Enough.

Now is the time for you to:

Surrender.

To try and fix it all.

Because we as humans cannot. Pretend that the big buy results in benefits.

Buying in. Writing the big check only creates foundational problems of epic resistance.

Wonderful that you turned to God.

Rest assured. He is no match for your games.

It would behoove you to check your conscience before walking though any mega doors any time soon.

People are now watching,

You.

Hopefully that is what you wanted.

It has been so easy for your destructive and desperate tendencies to permeate. For a time. For a season.

For the gain of function flu season, perhaps. We even understand your kind subscribe to the dog eat dog world.

Really.

Until your discovery that the good and honest of us bring the least of us into our domains for shelter. And food. Some of it even rice. We know your desire to stay here is making your crazy. Crazy at all costs and do anything methods.

Bring it on.

We got this.

We have it and you under control.

Bat away the eyes at rapid speed.

Bow all you like, at the wrong person.

Suggestion of a long study in all things theologian may bring to you a better understanding of how things roll. Here. On our turf.

Not yours.

You gave it a good fight.

What you did not remember.

We give it the noble fight.

Thank you, though, for your interest.

Whatever may lurk up your sleeve?

Bring it on.
