For this first event, our judges will be:
- Tom Bromley, Reedsy's Head of Learning and former commissioning editor at Little, Brown
- Jon Michael Darga, Reedsy editor and a literary agent at Aevitas Creative Management
How do you take part?
To enter Reedsy's Pitch Wars, register here for a link to submit your pitch. Here are the rules:
- Only submit ideas for books that haven't been published
- Don't submit anyone else's ideas
- Don't send in more than one submission
- Keep your pitches under 100 words
The team at Reedsy will select two to three finalists from each genre to feature in our live-streamed event, where our judges will give their reactions, share their advice on what works (and what doesn't), and crown a winner.
What does the winner get?
The champion of Reedsy's Pitch Wars #1 will be entitled to:
- A 30-minute publishing consultation with a Reedsy editor
- A limited-edition Reedsy T-shirt
- Bragging rights for being the first Reedsy Pitch Wars winner!
