How to submit your pitch
For this event, we're looking for a 1-2 sentence 'hook' that encapsulates your idea's essence. It should introduce your main character, the central conflict, and the stakes of your story — whether it's fiction or a memoir. Your goal is to intrigue the reader and make us want to know more.
For guidance on writing your submission, we suggest you check out our guide to writing a book hook, which includes advice from top Reedsy editors and dozens of examples from successful publications.
Once you're ready, just submit your pitch using this form. We expect there to be a lot of interest, so please only submit once.
