Sturgis let his head rest against the driver’s side window. The glass felt cool to his temple. He shifted in his seat for a more comfortable posture. The late autumn afternoon sun had pleasantly warmed the car interior and that, combined with the cheeseburger he had recently finished, made him drowsy.
