‘Beep beep beep’ a sound echoed through the room. Slowly, she opened her eyes and blinked at the bright light shining down at her. Where was she? What was that noise? With great caution, she sat up. Looking around the room, she realized she was in a hospital room. The noise was coming from the heart monitor beside her hospital bed. Why was she here? What happened to her?
