Hailing from India, I have a passion for words, encouraged by my mother who spent most of her spare time with her head buried in a book. Of course, I was going to become dazzled by the words of Enid Blyton, Louisa May Alcott and later on, the likes of Sidney Sheldon and even the early works of Harold Robbins (there, I said it!). My tastes are diverse and I can go straight from Margaret Mitchell and Alexandre Dumas, to Liane Moriarty and Jeffrey Archer in the blink of an eye. It was finding my own style that was problematic. Trying to recreate stories in the same vein as my gurus was not fulfilling in the least and in 2019, I embarked on a Masters in Writing. I found my passion and established my style; so keen was I to get going, that by the end of the year, I had completed, edited and published my first novel. The second, came soon after and when I had more time on my hands, having completed the degree at the end of 2020, I just couldn’t stop myself. My third, The Bad Seed, already done and dusted, I intend to continue forward until the passion wanes, which I pray never will. Whilst working on my novels, I have also been working on a screenplay for Never the Moon and I am very slowly writing a memoir of my mother, which I may never have the courage to publish.
