Just as much as this story is for me, it’s for all of those who have an absent father. My voice is yelling for all of us. It may be cracked and hoarse, but it will never stop until we’re all heard. There is a girl named Lerato Molatlheni, who is 15 years old in grade 9. Her father’s name is Kagiso Molatlheni, who was absent in her life for the past 9 years. Author bio

My name is Rebaona Boitumelo Reginah Morule. A girl of 22 years old, I was born on the 23rd of October 1999, at Itsoseng Township. I am a South African poet and a performer. In 2014 I started working with ATAMELANG COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER (I was doing poetry and drama), at Atamelang township. I was staying with my grandmother. I started writing poems at the age of 15 years old, during my great grandmother’s funeral. I think the love of my great grandmother influenced my desire to write poetry. English happened to be my favourite subject and the one thing that fascinated me the most were the poems. When you discover your purpose, you realize that you belong to something greater. A greater meaning you are no longer a sheep once you realize that you are the shepherd. In 2015 I went to Grahamstown at Arts Festival, to perform a show called KADITSHWENE. I normally enter social events and poetry competitions which winners will receive cash prizes. When I perform, I am always on top 3. I discovered that a talent is a gift from God. I am still excited about the power and magic of poetry and the ability to capture my own unique selective perception of the moment in a form that I can share with others. In 2018 I wrote a book titled ‘LADIES TALK’. An aptitude is a component of a competence to do a certain kind of work at a certain level.
