There are two of us who started this site, as a means to express our love of all things pertaining to books. Whether it be a review, an author or model interview, a fun post, or anything that is informative. We also have a few other member participants, who will also give their input from time to time. This is meant to be a fun site for you to sit back, have a drink and discuss your favorite things. It is after all a cafe style place for us to meet.

Hi! My book review blog is dedicated primarily to fantasy and sci-fi books. I also feature promo’s, excerpts, and interviews. I primarily read books geared towards audiences at the middle-grade and young adult levels. I also occasionally read contemporary romance books. While these are the genres I tend to drift to, I’m open to giving most books a chance.

Gayathri loves reading, recommending books and talking about bookish things in real life. Her blog is just an extension of that habit. When she is not reading books or creating online content, she freelances as a beta reader. She lives currently in Dubai.

Hi, I am Kriti and I write at Armed with A Book. I am an avid reader and I view all my interactions with authors about their books as a relationship. I have much to learn from you and your stories and hope that I will be able to get across the message you are conveying with your work. Please review my ‘Work with Me’ page for more information.

The blog was initially designed to share a few thoughts about the books I read and that's the aspect I still enjoy most. I don't give star ratings as my 5 stars might be someone else's 3 so I say what I thought instead, trying to be as honest as I can and I make the review personal to me as a reader. After a few months of blogging I realised just how hard it is for smaller publishers and independent authors to get their books noticed so I'm always willing to feature them if I can.

I am not a professional reviewer, and I adore books, and I see reviewing books as a way to ÛÏpayÛ for my addiction to reading. Books are a way of learning more about the world, seeing it from someone else's perspective, traveling to different places and times, discovering how other people live.

SFBook has five regular reviewers. If we were to satisfy every author, we'd need to read and write reviews for over 100,000 books each per year. That's 274 books every day. Given that fact we simply can't review everyone's book, we are lucky to get through a very small fraction of those written each year. We are, however, happy to be contacted with requests by independent authors as well as those who are represented by agents and publishers.

We will consider all subgenres of speculative fiction (and related nonfiction), regardless of author or medium, including self-published work, but we are especially interested in seeing more books by and about women, people of color, LGBTQIA, disabled people, people with nonwestern languages and religions, and other under-represented groups.

If you would like to request a review, please send me an email with a brief description of your book and the buy links. Please DO NOT attach any files to your request for review. I will let you know if I'm interested in reviewing your book. I cannot review every book submitted to me because of the overwhelming number of submissions. Please, no horror, true crime, memoirs, or children's books.
