THE GHOST LONG DAY.

They say there are three hundred and sixty six days in a year, I never believed it. For me, happened just a day. And was thinking all just a dream and happened I just in a long day.

It three past four early morning, my mom came to my room and was asking me of my normal activities for the day,I told her all plans. That time, I forgot of when my birthday was. Mummy held my hands and told me what I like to do when I was a baby, she told me my likes and dislikes and Willie that was what I was called not alone, my little John my pet. Mummy song me songs of my heart, taught me how life is and said to me this

Once, there was a boy who became bored when he watched over the village sheep grazing on the hillside. To entertain himself, he sang out, “snake! Snake! The snake is chasing the sheep!”

When the villagers heard the cry, they came running up the hill to kill the snake. But, when they arrived, they found no snake. The boy was amused when seeing their actions.

“Don’t cry snakes, boy,” warned the villagers, “when there is no snake!” They  angrily threw the sticks away and went back down the hill.

Later, the shepherd boy cried out again, “snakes ! Snakes ! The snake is chasing the sheep!” To his amusement, he looked on as the villagers came running up the hill to kill the snake.

As they saw there was no snake, they said strictly, “You better save your frightened cry for when there really is a snake! Don’t cry ‘snakes’ when there is no snake!” But the boy grinned at their words while they walked grumbling down the hill once more.

Later, the boy saw a real snake around his flock. Alarmed, he jumped on feet and cried out as loud as he can, “Snakes! Snakes!! Snakes!!!” But the villagers thought he was fooling them again, and so they didn’t come to help him out.

Few minutes later, the villagers went looking for the boy who hadn’t returned with their sheep. When they went up the hill, they found him weeping.

“There really was a snake here! The flock is gone! I cried out, ‘Snake!’ but you never show up to help me out ,” he wailed, 'oh why, why' as he cries on, an old man went to comfort the him. As he put his arm around him, he said, “Nobody believes a liar, even when he is telling the truth!” more, few minutes later, 

Again she told me this story. ‘Aka was getting frustrated and tired of life, so he asked his father what to do. His father told him to bring an egg, two tea leaves, and a potato. His father then brought out three vessels, filled them with water, and placed them on the stove.

Once the water was boiling, he told Aka to place the items into each pot and keep an eye on them. After 10 minutes, he asked Aka to peel the egg, peel the potato, and strain the leaves. Aka was left confused.

His father explained, “Each item was placed into the same circumstance, boiling water. See how each responded differently?”

He continued, “The egg was soft, but is now hard. The potato was hard, but is now soft. And the tea leaves, they changed the water itself.”

The father then asked, “When adversity calls, we respond in the same manner as they have. Now, are you an egg, a potato, or tea leaves?”

Uncle Ben my Dad Mr. Eric told me it time to go to the garden but I wanted to be with my mother for more interesting stories not knowing, a car has been parked behind the garden where I normally harvest my Mango fruits. Mr. Eric told me my son let’s ride the show, he started the engine and took me out for more funs, we went to the cinema and watch shows plays, we later moved to the zoo,not that alone, he bought me some ice cream and after spending enough time Daddy drove home.

Later some time, we drove home and I was wondering what is going on,hmmmm to my surprise all my friends and teachers were around our house with some funds and more, no one told me what is all about, later I asked Daddy 'what is going on?’ Daddy said have fun, I played with some friends and all people in our house, later I heard a voice saying ' it’s enough, he had rest enough ' 

My mom whispered softly and slowly into ear ‘lets go to your for a surprise' I was not will to go anywhere away from my friends because I had been long time I have ever had such time to be with my friends. Annan brought her pet, lucky the smaller of all doggy to our place. She again whispered' let’s go to your room for supperis' as soon as I heard that it’s all about surprise I really enjoyed playing with my friends but went with my mummy. I was told it’s my birthday wow, I couldn’tstand that quickly all friends Sung me a birthday songs, Jackeline my best friend gave me birthday gift and all my friends, uncles, John ,etc. I was thinking about it’s just a day but seems to long day of year after all these parties organized I was shocked because it had never happened before in my life time, do you know what next,hmmm, mummy told me, its time to cut your birthday cake. I was about the as mummy counted, my the I count up to four cut the cake,so the started, one, tow, three, cut the cake and was ready to take a bite into my mouth before I, realized it all dream.

Daddy said good morning David get up and prepare for school, hmmm, I wished I was all long day with my birthday party but have lost all, ah ,God why dream. It’s the longest day I ever had in the year.
