Adventure Christian Middle School

The Ultimate and Endless Upsell.

Distilled. Still. Sparkly.

Never give someone more information than they need to act.

Trade and its verbals, sells and presentations.

The purse trade.

The grooming trade.

The leather trade.

The liquid trade

The drug trade. Is not trade at all.

Enmeshment entangled into the envelope is destined only to pop out of the band, wedding or belly, that attempt to hold it in.

Hold it together.

Renewal.

Renege.

Repeat.

Re-work.

Trade this person’s life for that persons life is dirty “p**”😥😬😚😳

We all have a sweet spot. We all have a blue spot. It is known as the “locus coeruleus”. We all have it, if we are human. The LC evolved early, as it had to. The main job of the LC is to send a chemical—called nonadrenaline—to other parts of the brain that ignite warnings of life-threatening menace.(sq)

Of life-threatening menace. Menaces. Without it we would have died off long ago (sq)

At the risk of giving underaged readers TMI/too much information will leave it at that. The bigger concern is the sales. Of the menaces. The marketing that literally flies like an insidious bug across your screens. Minute by minute. Hour by hour. Day by Day. So on and so on.

Close the deal. Close the steal. Minds and souls included. That is not the sort of inclusion you need, nor should want. Ever.

Push the panic button. Drop the grenade on your life and then walk away. Spiel after spiel after spiel. Boost essential traffic to the users and the buyers. Enssures the persons involved are crucial to the model, the business model. That means you.

Regional, National, Local. It is becoming apparent that it will soon make no difference—other than the packaging and the price of a stamp of course.

Be careful, very careful how it is packaged. How he or she is packaged too. Never give someone more than they need to act.

React. Too.

Let the crazier person throw the first punch kind of crazy. Our LC’s hide right behind our ears, just above the brain stem, the blue spot that has helped guarantee our survival. Be alert. Stay aware. It is everywhere.

Opiatial and Occipital were walking parallel on the sidewalk. Opiatial was walking more calmly, deliberately even, eye balling Occipital in a way that seemed, well, disconcerting to say the last. Occipital had excellent peripheral awareness so knew that Opiatial was watching ever move closely, insidiously.

It was creepy. It was itchy scratchy kind of creepy. Like a menacing extraterrestrial, Opiatial was attempting to send a signal to Occipital to change, to alter something in the brain through the chalets of the eyes. Opiatial first used flirtatious eye glances, and a suggestive walk in an attempt to distract Occipital. In an attempt to distract Occipital into walking into the street perhaps. As mentioned, Occipital was too smart, too aware. Was not easily won over by the flirtatious and suggestive moves and signals displayed by Opiatial.

It was as if Opiatial needed to stifle the movement, the movements of Occipital. Opiatial was relentlessly signaling to stifle Occipital’s LC. To shut it down. Under Opiatial’s influence, it would cause Occipital’s LC to no longer send the chemical igniting panic. Smother it so completely, so as to send Occipital’s LC to be muted. Sending Occipital into a frenzied state of overdrive and overdose of flirtatious and suggestive behavior. Numb. (sq)

Opiatial was relentlessly attempting to get Occipital’s attention and CONVINCE Occipital that doing with out Opiatial and Opiatial’s “services” would be a life-threatening event.

Warning: An emergency from which Occipital would never recover completely.

Keep Occipital at the mercy of Opiatial. Needing Opiatial in charge and Occipital in a shriek-like addict state of existence. Attempting to change Occipital in insidious ways, chemically, physically, causing organs in Occipital’s body to betray Occipital and AID in Occipital’s demise. Insidious.

Chemistry 101. Yes.

Important and Lifelong Lesson in saying “No” to something or someone who is attempting to get into your mind.

“Come back here! Don’t you dare run away,” The words certainly indicate frustration. Even the best-behaved of us desire to head out in search of adventure—the smell of fresh clover, new people to meet and warm breeze replete with the promise of bones yet uncovered. (hnw)

Wait.

What?

Are we still talking about a human?

You guessed it.

No.

The Call of the Wild.

We can learn a thing or a gagillion by aligning with the nature of a dog and the ability to wander with purpose. With dogs, it is wander with a purpose. In human, it is wander with a lapse. In judgment. Our thoughts. Our energy. We all have wandering minds of daydreaming, planning, fantasizing, aimlessly drifting about.

Opiatial can be hiding ‘round that wander corner too. Ready to pounce on you and your life. Wandering into our minds and thoughts that FEED our problems rather than help to solve them. Bitterness. Affliction. Sometimes we can become entangled where we’ve allowed ourselves to drift. (hnw)

Remember Opiatial, flirtatious, suggestive. 24/7.Non-stop.

We become entangled where we’ve allowed ourselves to drift: to future events, past painful encounters, worries and so on.

Wander like a dog. Ealk like a dog. Walking. Walk on. Alongside. Persons will disappoint. So will extraterrestrials like Opiatial. Tempting. Tempestuous. And Too much.

As you become more aware of how your mind sabotages your good intentions to meditate of God’s Word or spend ten minutes in concentrated thought, concentrated prayer, you may make a discovery.

About yourself.

Just as a dog who instinctively needs to wander/has a mind of its own, so to speak. So do humans. Regardless of your good intentions to keep it under control and in balance, it still wanders away into thoughts of the past, future, pain, or loss. (hnw)

Just as we use leashes and fences to keep our dogs where they should be. It may help to do the same with our thoughts. (hnw)

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)

He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who is hasty in spirit exposes and exalts his folly. This person actually suppresses strife in the beginning so it doesn’t break out.

But if and when it does break out.

Run for cover!
