How much is too much?

Tired,

Retired,

Of it all,

Are you?

I know.

How you may feel.

Everything old IS new again.

Everything new IS old again.

Reverse or reversion. The same thing?

Going back to old ways can be as revealing as the path itself.

The treatment path.

The pedagogy of learning is not for the weak, the weak minded or weak hearted.

Willingly, not willingly provided and taken. What you may decide to “take.” Or take it or leave it. Therapeutically speaking has fans, detractors, too. Popping the proverbial pill of sanity becomes the self-medical decision because the coherence reach for all has skyrocketed out of control—for some— for me but not for thee.

Back to the scales of balance we go.

Back on the scales of weights and balances we pray.

No one really gets to squeak by without notice.

Jumping on the God train?

Welcome!

But.

It helps yo know your “stuff.”

Nature versus nurture. Is under attack.

Now.

Voo doo dolls and lucky charms aside.

How will you know what you think you know but wish you did not know?

Hint: Look at your own heart.

Dig for it even.

If it screams loudly in vain from the outside of your sleeve.

Chances are. All is good. Or at least, ok. Okay is ok. Nowadays.

Ok or okay is not that bad, Good is better. But okay has gotten a bad rap.

Whatever decade of life you may find yourself in, there was a time, where backpacks were rather full of knowledge to be devoured. The best ones, the best books are read, re read, interpretated and poured over. The back did not even know the weight it was carrying. The constant reminder:

He had our back. And told us so again and again the the good book.

Good books are continually poured over. Again. And. Again.

Like a good wine.😏.

Tolerance versus patience.

Nature versus nurture.

If you find the deep inner self in a position to wreck someone’s life. To make yours better, at the expense of another…….

Walk away.

Take a vote. Take a deep inward look. Ask yourself: If you were required to recite the hippocratic oath, could you? With all the self-medicating out there, behind closed doors, on the streets, where there are no names—but many, many faces.

Even if and when we think we “deserve” more.

Tolerance is strengthened over time.

The bigger issue is when is enough, enough?

Some confuse tolerance with patience.

Hey. We all came from somewhere. The next time of life may find you on the stage of life, begging for yours. In some way, shape or form.

Not cool.

Open your arms to change, don’t point fingers, keep your values in a special place—in case you have to revert or reverse and resort to using them. Hopefully, again. Times as precarious as these have bumped the apples outta the cart faster than we can say, “Yes, please” and “crunch”. Used to be: An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Now. The food fights in the kitchens of our lives are all rather, “messy.”

There is only so much one can take. Really. Getting caught up in the catting and mousing game is dicey. The next thing the beg becomes a free for all word salad that gets tossed into exactly what the other side “wants.” Another bad and messy food fight.

Where do we find ourselves?

Back to square one.

Without a paddle.😣

Again.

It is not, nor never safe to assume. Anything about anyone.

When we close our eyes, we close our minds.

Devouring only ourselves in the process.

Gaining the weight of the world, instead of gaining—

Knowledge.

Skills.

We all came from somewhere.

At a certain point in time. We are faced with a decision. Many actually.

Of how we choose to live a day, for self. For others.

Ask: What is the goal?

Today. Practical skills and developments social abilities are tested.

To the max.

Tacit. Tactically. Taxingly. Concepts as intertwined as any of and none of us want to admit. Difficult to transfer the tangible nature of the traits, skills and wills. Of agendas.

Back to basics.

Some folks lie.

More or less than others.

“Character is the ability to carry out a good resolution long after the excitement of the moment has passed.”

“People of good character are not all going to come down on the same time of difficult political and social issues.” (wjb).

Good people.

Be a good people😃.

”Good people—people of character and moral literacy—can be conservative, and good people can be liberal.”

What’s the diff?

Obligation.

We have an obligation to do what is right by our fellow man. We cannot let the fight become the giant piece of baloney that eats us alive. Inside. Leaving behind a gaping hole of regret. And an insidious hunger for more😳

What we learn when we are young, sticks. Indelibly. Unalterable. According to Plato, when come face to face with a young being, we have an obligation to offer them only our best, the good in everything, beauty amid fair sights and sounds, the effluence of fair works.

The effluence of fair works.

The effluence of fair works.

”Then will our youth dwell in a land of health, amid fair sights and and sounds, and receive good in everything; and beauty, the effluence of fair works, shall flow into the eye and ear, like a health-giving breeze from a purer region, and in sensibly draw the soul from the earliest years into likeness and sympathy with the beauty of reason.”

The beauty of reason.

The beauty of reason.

There can be no nobler training than that.”

Yep.

Yes.

And.

More than ok or okay.

It is an obligation— we have. To be a disciple of oneself and pass it on, pass it along.

We do not always handle this responsibility well.

We become confused.

Until. We are no longer confused about who we are, where we came from and what we want to do.

Nowadays. On the many days, where it is difficult to make sense of all the nonsense.

Stand up.

Stand tall.

Stand up for.

Stand with.

With your own tolerance and patience.

Of the

Decisions. Decisions.

To oblige the best in your neighbor as yourself.🫵🏻

🙏🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻🤼‍♂️🥊✌🏻
