A Teacher

People who have a teacher at their back and goals at their front will be successful in life. But it matters a lot that even a teacher too contributes to reach your success along with your contribution. Once a 8 year old boy who had no idea of classical dance was joined to a dance class where all of them were girls and he was the only boy in whole dance class. This boy was obviously not interested in learning dance as his interest was playing cricket but not dancing. He was forcefully joined to classes by his parents decision. He did not have any option rather than going to that dance class. First day of dance class was absolute dreamy, where every other students are in their own world. Feeling absolute lonely, no friends to talk, new atmosphere made him blank. Then there came a women with a grace to talk to him and this women was none other than his dance teacher. She made him introduce to whole class, introduced herself to him. Somewhere this conversation made him comfortable. He learnt dance day by day. Now he was a friend to all girls in the class. But after few years, a sudden thought came to him that why is he the only boy in whole class. He went to his teacher and questioned the same. The answer told by this wonderful teacher was little blunt. She said, when he was 8 year old, he did not have that own knowledge but now he has grown up, then why he his still in this institute even if has grown up. This made him think about himself that he was just attending this class without any purpose, without any goals. He re-questioned his teacher then their is nothing that she changed in his life too. His teacher just wonderfully said in a single sentence that a teacher's aim is to make a student learn but a teacher's professional life will only be successful when the child makes them proud by overtaking teaching itself. This sentence made that boy question himself that was he a good student to his teacher or not. From this conversation he learnt that she was the one who had made him gain knowledge, made confident, made him interested in dance even if he was not interested. So basically, his teacher was his everything. This made him passionate, stubborn, determiner and hard worker. He learnt dance for several years from the same teacher with passion and kept on participating in district, national, international competition. In an international dance competition he was the winner and was told him to speak few words. He said, when he had nothing he had his teacher, when he has everything he has his teacher, that shows his teacher knew that he was the only student who never gave up and would make his teacher proud by overtaking his teacher who only had competed only in national competition. He dedicated the award to his teacher, did namaskar to her and told that Guru Devo Bhava. On stage, there was nothing else than a strong teacher and student bond.
