Gone into the Night

It was a hot summer night in court-side town when these three kids by the name of Johnny, Mila, and Jake went out to ride their bikes, when out of no where the street light and building light flickered, and the electricity popped and then shut down, making everything pitch black. You could feel the fear that set in court-side town. They started to freak out and decided to all go home to their families fast. When they finally got home they were all shook at what they all noticed. They noticed that all the adults were gone, like they disappeared into the night with no trace. Johnny texted, " Guys my family is gone are your families gone as well? My parents are gone guys, they are gone but their cars, cell phones, and keys are here and everything." Mila and Jake texted, " Oh my god! my parents are gone too." Mila texted, " I'm so scared guys! I don't know what's happening." Before they decided to meet up they went around to their neighbors homes just to find them all empty. All three of them decided to meet up at their local ice cream spot, just to find out that every single neighborhood kid was walking and whispering around the shop scared. Mila saw one of her friends, Taylor and asked her, " Hey why is everyone here?" Taylor responded, " All our parents are gone and we don't know where they went." Mila went back to to her two friends and told them that they weren't the only ones who's parents were gone. A few weeks went by and the kids started going crazy and trashing their whole town. None of the kids didn't know what to do so instead they started to build their own world. They started their own farms, jobs, nurse, jobs, etc. Mila, Johnny, and Jake worked in the plantation section where they worked for 5 hours watering the fields, planting seeds, and picked out weeds. The little world that they were running started to lose faith in everything, and wanted to stop caring but Johnny, Mila, and Jake started to get everyone on track and told them " We can't give up! we've worked so hard to get where we are right now." Some of the kids fell in line but there was always that one group whether in the real world or not where they want to bring violence. Those kids had lost so much faith that they wanted to run the town and boss everyone around. This guy by the name of Tom stopped them. Tom was the kid who was loved by everyone no matter your background because of how he treated you. He told everyone that they need to be united and to work together and that if they were divided nothing good would come out of it, only destruction. It took time for those bad kids to fall in line and finally understand the big picture, survival. There was one night where a big earthquake hit and half of the people in the town where injured or dead. This natural event caused them to have to re build from scratch. Mila, Johnny, and Jake did everything they could to help those who were injured, lost a home, food, or water. This made them learn to always be prepared. To never be comfortable because you don't know when disaster is about to hit you and make things shaky. They had to fix the water supply, re build homes, farm more, and learn to be kind of be everything in the world in order to survive and make up for everything they all had lost that night. As time went on some started to be teens and others started grow up to be adults. A group went out to explore the town that they were in when they suddenly encountered this book marking everything that had gone through but the weird thing was that it was made in 1945 and they were in 2021. They all started to believe that they were in some type of stimulation. They all started freaking out and wondered if there was a way out, so they turned the town upside down looking for answers but simply didn't find anything. There was no other way but to simply keep on going, surviving. A few years went by and they had kids of their own. Mila and Jake got married and two kids, named Shay and Blake, while Johnny ended up with Taylor, and even started a family of their own. They had three baby girls by the name of, Lucy, Cleo, and Hailey. Taylor though through everything was thinking that "what if one day, the world goes dark again and we disappear, and our kids have to deal with what we went through." This made the people who lived in court-side town fear that it will happen all over again, and their kids will have to endure the trauma that they went through. Everyone pushed forward and from that little town, they had started a whole new world separate from the other earth known to them as their original home. It was nothing quite like the home they had with their own families but they had to make do with what they had left from their original home. Mila started to wake up from a three hour nap or more and realized it was all a dream and that everything that she dreamt about was just from a story she read at the library from 1945 and that none of it was real. She immediately told Johnny and Jake and they laughed at her and ended up deciding to hangout with each other before it got too late. They all ended up biking around there little town to watch the sunset while eating ice cream when all of a sudden the world in an instant was pitch black and they soon realized they were all living Mila's scary nightmare.
