"Lace, I would be glad if you hurried. I know you are watching that silly web-toon inside your washroom. If you don't wanna pick a fight just come the hell out of the washroom" “Mama, you are great at making me furious "

And that’s how my day started today. Sorry people couldn't give you a chill morning vibe. But as always I do have something to make my journal fascinating i.e. something weird again happened to me today. The very strange senior of my college was following me again to my home for the 17^th time of the month. But when I nervously started running he started running too faster and gosh he's so fast. Suddenly he grabbed my hand from the back, pushed me against a tree and asked me "Why the hell did you do it?" “What? What did I do?” “You will know it someday” and then he left saying those triggering lines to me

Chapter: 02

Scenario_01

As always I started my day in the most conventional way I can. At school, the day was going normal. Actually, good, Not until the loathsome Kiara stood in front of me to act like the “pain in my ass”character. “It’s been long since you pleased us. “Man! I knew boys harassed girls for their sexual pleasure. But  girls from when?Whatever.I don’t really get these girls. When I tried to ignore her, she made me trip over. DAMN! All my books fell down. “What the hell is your problem? Can’t you see I am going to my class? “She dared my guts and pushed me against the wall. Snatched my notebook and started ripping all the pages.As always, I am physically weak.That’s why the only thing I could do was stand there crying and only wishing“God make this girl go through all the pain she causes me”.When she was done entertaining herself and was about to leave, she mistakenly stepped on a banana peel,slipped and fell down from the stairs.Man she was hurt really bad.All I did was run away from the spot because I had no intention of helping her out.While running I just thought“How did my wish come true so fast?”

Scenario_02

When I was going back home from school,I felt someone was constantly following me.I looked back and saw that it was him.That senior.Today I decided that I will chase him down to the end.And so I did.I started running after him.He started running too.As if he was leading me to someplace.I kept the tracker on my phone on so that my smort parents could track me if I was actually lost or trapped.

 Scenario_03

 As it had occurred to me earlier,he was actually leading me to somewhere.The place was dark,stingy,dusty and had the highest possibility of not having light.Suddenly a voice from behind shook me“Why did you do this?Why the hell did you do this?”I asked“What on earth did I do that made you so annoyed.I don’t even know you”“You don’t know me.But you know her”he showed me a photograph.A photograph seeing which tears were rolling down my cheeks“Mother!It’s my mother’s photograph.How do YOU have it?”“What the crap are you talking about?Are you perhaps-” “Lacey.I am Lacey.But who are you?”

“Ah,well-”

“Morrel!Morrel you are alive!”

For a moment there was pin drop silence.I looked at Morrel,who’s my long-lost brother,who was presumed dead,for whose returning I always prayed to God.

I thought he would hug me,cry seeing me.But instead he asked“Why did you kill our mother?”“What?Why and how would I kill her?Are you speaking nuts?”“You killed her with your supernatural powers.”“What supernatural powers?Morrel look I’m already a lot jumbled about the whole ‘you returning to me’,‘me murdering our mother’ thing.So please don’t confuse me anymore and just throw the details to me bro”

“You have the power of making the things,specifically things related to revenge real if you think about them.So as far as I know that on that day you had a fight with mother,she slapped you,you would always become super angry if something didn’t go according to your wish.So you had thought about the most horrible imagination about mother feeling the same way you were feeling that specific day.As a result she died without any symptoms.”

I was hella confused and mad.“Okay.1.I didn’t kill her 2.I didn’t know I had such kinda superpower-

“Mother didn’t let you know actually”

“3.I was mad surely but Morrel trust me I never ever did think like that once.I thought ,yes  I wished she could feel my pain but I was so little to think something so scary.I thought if an apple or some kinda fruit falls on mother’s head she will understand my pain.4.Who narrated you this bogus story?”

“A woman named Azessuptan.I met her at the orphanage.She said she was my mother’s best friend and when I had told her my probable imagination of that happening she said that she heard from the ministry of potions and superpowers and my story was definitely right. She also showed me your picture,grown-up ones.But she said that you were another girl and that it wasn’t my sister which is you.After that incident we had lost each other’s track and so I eventually ended up in an orphanage.”

“Can I see her picture?”

“Sure.Wait let me see if I have it.Look,here-

“As I had thought.It is no other than our so called turned witch aunt Zoella. Don't you remember her?”

“I lost a part of my brain surely that’s why I had forgotten you.So it’s obvious I don’t remember her sissy!”

“Dude it was her who killed mother and now she wants me dead by your hands so that 1.she stays unrevealed 2.You feel guilty after knowing everything 3.To snatch away my power.I had seen her that day coming outta mothers room and immediately when I went into her room it was already too late”

Morrel was taken aback with my statement.He paused for a while and then said only two things

1.I AM SORRY LACE

2.WE HAVE TO MAKE A PLAN.WE HAVE TO TAKE HER DOWN.

Chapter: 03

Scenario_01

(Lacey stopped writing journals to focus more on the plan.After days planning they finally executed their plan on the day of their mother’s death)

"Okay listen you won't act all brave in front of her,okay.Please Lace".Lace couldn’t disagree more "No way I am listening to you. I will go nuts if something happens to you.You may be my elder brother but tbh I have the superpower."

Azessuptan was listening their every word. She was actually observing if it was an act."Oh dees litol pepol.I khan't ber dieh khwap tholks" She pointed a yoyo towards Lace and threw it and pulled it back real quickly.Immediately Lace cried "OUCH! WHAT THE FU*K".Morrel turned to her and saw that she was collapsing.“Lace,what happened?”“I can’t breath!I can’t feel myself.I am feeling exhausted.Help me Morrel”Morrel had understood what was actually going on and turned to look upstairs of the hall.It was Azessuptan who had stolen away her power from her which is now inside the yo-yo.

 Azessuptan came down flying.“I was wathing fwo you fellass.Westhing thime on somethin wich you won’th eveh geth is mieh sthupideethy my deah nephu.”“What the hell do you want you Witch?”“Khi khi khi khiiiiii!Don’th you alredyee know wath I wanth? Eithe gimme you sisthe owr gimme he powe”Morrel was enraged as ever.“That won’t ever happen.You will get neither of them.So stop living up to your hopes.

Listening to this Azessuptan made no delay in attacking Morrel.“Ouch!”“Morrel!”“You bitch”Lace wanted to use her superpowers.Alas!They weren’t with her anymore.Rather she was more hurt.“Lace please don’t try hard.Don’t fight all alone you don’t have the superpower anymore.”

Scenario_02

He tries his best to defend her.But at some point of the fight,Morrel threw away his watch towards Lace's direction.And seeing this Lace hurriedly stood up and didn't delay even a sec to run towards the stairs to go upstairs.Azessuptan saw that and pointed her wand to shoot at her. But Morrel stood in the way and took the shot instead.Lacey knew what was actually going on behind her but she couldn't stop back."I am sorry brother",was only thing she could say weeping.She was running and running.Her destination was Azessuptan's table where the actual weapon to destroy her was.

The weapon was actually a feather.A feather with different shades of white, black and grey.Yes to be precise,the feather does actually look very rich.

The feather couldn't be burn until the owner burns it.And she knew how to make the owner burn it.She came down hurriedly and shouted at Azessuptan,"You couldn't ever be a part of the special embassy unlike my mother.You are a pathetic looser."Lacey knew that her so-called aunt burns with anger whenever she's made to recall that hideous past.

Azessuptan couldn't control herself.She pointed the wand towards her and said“Maythrothhell”.But Lacey somersaulted and covered herself behind a furniture,“You are unable to do anything.You do not own something that can destroy me.”Azessuptan again directed the wand towards her and said“Xenopantia” and a blueish-white flame came out of it.But phew!Lacey escaped somehow.And now was the time for her to say the ultimate triggering lines“You know why you lost your love of life?Because you went against the rules of power.No wait,because you didn’t desrve it.You are the reason for whom your husband died a pitiful death”.“THISH WAS THEH MOSTH HASHT LINE.YO COSSED YOU LIMITHS.I WASN’TH THEH EASONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!”She screeched while saying it.She was turning yellow then orange slowly.Lace knew she has to anticipate for the heart-throbbing moment.And there it is.She did finally turned red from all the pain,grief,hatred and nostalgia(if you think she can go through).She opened her damn stinky,filthy mouth and a huge flame of fire came out.

Morrel wasn’t lying unconscious.He was aware of everything that was going on.He was waiting with a medium-sized stone that he had brought to break her wand when she starts to weaken .He saw the large flame and got alarmed.

Lace with no delay held the feather towards the flame direction.It was a very risky task indeed.She had to be careful about not burning up herself.Lace wished if she could make a slo-mo of this very moment.It was so thrilling.No sooner had the tip of the feather touched the fire than Lace threw away it to the fires direction and stepped back a lot of steps to stay away from the heat.

Scenario_03

Azessuptan was blowing up and blowing up.But she was unware of her death.She didn’t know that a fiercely act was gonna be the last one before she died.But she didn’t want this actually.

When Morrel saw that she was weakening and had realized the fact that she was dying,he pointed the stone at the wand and with utmost confidence he shot at it(Morrel was good at shooting since childhood.His mother had decided to admit him into her ancestral shooting academy).Azessuptan was collapsing.She was weeping, screaming and then crying out loudly“I didn’t want to die like this.I wanted to do something good.I wanted to live like a human being,like that sarcastic girl I used to be with Raphel(her lost husband) again.I deserve it!!!”

Morrel and Lace stood beside each other.They were feeling the worst but they couldn’t afford to get swayed away by emotions and make the same goddamned mistake alike their mother.The saw Zoella (her human name) turning into ashes.But Lace saw something else too.

She saw that her dear brother was also turning to ash.From the bottom gradually,she saw that his shoes were already gone.Azessuptan was now squeaking on the other side.“consequences are never fruitful”.Lace was shocked.She kept questioning“what is going on?What the hell is going on?Morrel you will be fine.Tell me what should I do or bring to heal you?Please speak Morrel for God’s sake!”Morrel was then half alive and half dead.“It’s nothing Lace.It’s truly a consequence.Not of your works.But mine.I was told that I will be given punishment if I followed my revenge”.“Why didn’t you tell me that you fool?”“Telling you wouldn’t have changed my decision.I had decided to take the revenge of our mother’s death and I would have done that anyhow.Be happy Lace.I am always there for you.And please promise that you won’t resent yourself for my consequence.This is what I am bearing for my deeds”“Morrel,stop these shit-talking and tell me what I have to do”“You don’t have to do anything.You can’t do anything.Just stay beside me calmly.Let me revive these last moments with my sister.”

Lace went numb.She wanted to say“Stay with me”or“I love you brother.Thanks for being the best every time.”But no,she was unable to say anything.

Zoella had vanished.So did Morrel.All left was again a lonely Lace only with memories of her brother and this heinous day.

Lace’s parents came running“Lace,Lace.Dear are you fine?”“Mom!”She hugged her mother tightly and was crying simultaneously.“Mom how did you find me here?”“Morrel had narrated me the whole story and the plan.He had sent me the location”“Mom brother left me alone.”“He didn’t leave you alone dear.He was forced to do so.”Lace was surprised“What do you mean?”Her mother while calming her down down said“He was given option.Either you or him.He wanted you to live a normal life,a beautiful one.He sacrificed”

Lace was in a shock.Her face went dry.She wasn’t saying anything.She wasn’t crying too.She was in a trauma.   

Chapter: 04

THE LAST SCENARIO___

Months passed yet it was difficult enough for Lacey to start afresh a new life again.Only she knew what she went through,how she handled herself all these months.But she had to anyhow for her parents and her dear brother.

She started her day as usually but she was feeling pathetic.And unfortunately a very pathetic incident had to happen to her on that very day.“Hey Lace,the loner,come here and clean our desks”.It was the loathsome Kiara.

“Listen, I ain’t in a very casual mood right know.”“Look who’s talking!“Kiara was approaching along with her gang to harass her, embarrass her.Kiara wasn’t stepping back this time.She stood still to face the consequence. “You bitch”,saying this no sooner had Kiara raised her hand than a boy tripped over and spilled chili sauce on her face and instantaneously her face started burning.“Oh my face!Oh my face!It’s burning fucking so much.” “Is this a mere a coincidence?” whispered Lacey to herself.

After this morning drama,while going back to class Lacey wondered all the way what had just happened.“Such miracles never occur though”Suddenly she felt like she saw something by the corner of her eyes,

“BLUE SHIRT”.

It was her brother’s blue shirt.

Her eyes were almost filled with tears.

When she sat down in her class on the furthest desk from the board,she took out her notebook and wrote two lines with blue ink which she uses only to write too significant things

“Finally my wish has been fulfilled.Finally I am a sister who has a brother.Finally I am a sister who will be always protected by her brother.”

She then closed the notebook and stared outside the window on the blue sky,thinking about the dream last night.

Prologue:Lacey was sleeping in her room when suddenly she saw that Morrel came to her and whispered to her eyes“Lace,you are no more a loner.Now you also have a brother to protect you.Who will always stay by your side.ALWAYS”
