North.

South.

East.

West.

Wild. Wilderness. Nature. Natural.

Sorry. If finding the means to an end requires more noise.

Sorry. If it requires a paper map.

Sorry. It it requires a compass.

Sorry. If it requires one to use their brain a little.

Sorry. If Siri became lost in the wilderness……the wild of the wilderness.

Has Siri now taken to the marine wilderness?... Is Siri, just, well, everywhere? When challenged, Siri will not bend of break nor bend or stretch that far. Becomes staticky noise and noisy in the brush and the trees.

You must get there on your own.

Accord.

Dis cord.

With of or with out a cord, chord.

For some of us, we didn’t know they did exist. In reality

Until now.

So then.

How will you know where you are going if you have never been there?

And.

Who will get you to the there from the here? When the car breaks down, the phone runs outta juice and you are left standing there “exposed” 😉

Did you know—“Then court-in’ days were over before they were over?

Well. It has been out there for awhile. The conversation has been twisted and turned to the point of a knot. The wilderness concept has been an issue of international importance and in and around the time of the ‘70’s began the process of defining the term in biological and social contexts.(wk)

Did I just hear your ears perk up?

Your eyes become wide?

Your stomach drop to the floor”

Your face turn beet red?

Need to sit down.

Me too.

The conversation has been wild, that is for darn sure. Darn tootin’ as they say in the West. The sky west. And now the marine south, if you will.

It’s now all about the water. The H2O.The aqua. The aquatic wilderness. Better put your seat belts on and prepare for a hard landing. On hard ground. Shallow waters ahead.

The conversation had been changing for some time, and many chose to either bury their heads in the sand (by the lake, by the beach, by the pond, by the creek), ignore the stories, forget they had heard, claim they had not heard, hoped it wasn’t true, think it was not worth fighting. That it’ll all be there tomorrow.

Exactly.

But it is not really here today. The good stuff. The real stuff. The legal and managing of the conversation has been, how shall we say, been “tweaking” for some time. One day we awakened and may have thought,

”Crap”

I really should have been paying attention. To how I have been treating the world around me. And when you may not have been paying attention. Others took it upon themselves to do so for you. Good for some. Bad for some.

And. Hope you like it.

Because it is here.

They decided it.

Cough it up.

And we all did for about two-ish years.

Coughed it up.

We are still paying up, health literally in our hands.

There are global groups whose intentions are honorable and good.

But. (There is often a but) when conversations are,

One sided.

Conservatives versus Conservationist.

A novel concept.

Kinda reminds me of a a novel virus that came in, swept us all up in its web, and then faded away with our good breath and blood.

And now the virus have taken a liking to our beautiful water supply, supplies.

Conservationist live in a clearing house for information.

Of wilderness issues. Of international waters. Of the walls closing in on you. Perhaps you had or had not noticed.

According to Conservation International, 46% of the world’s land mass is wilderness. The term wilderness was: “An area that has 70% or more of its original vegetation intact, covers at least 10,00 square kilometers (3,900 square miles) and must have fewer than five people per square kilometer. (wk)

What’s the point?

Cough it up.

Mother Earth is feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment.

Vague. Maybe.

Open to interpretation. Probably.

”True wilderness requires the ability of life to undergo speciation with as little interference as possible.” (wk)

There go those humans again, always egotistical and pushing the boundaries of what is right. What is wrong. What is male. What is female. Etcetera. Etcetera. Thinking they can change the rules and rewrite the script and callously hope nobody will notice.

Well. A few of us have. Noticed. Maybe even more than a few.

Hopefully.

A suggestion for the future of life.

Best to state your beliefs, deeply held, or otherwise, or not.

Clarifications:

Rainbows form in the sky.

Waves form in the water.

Females are girls.

Males are boys.

You are who you are.

And. We like you just the same.

Steward or not. Someone, anyone, has to call it out that although the legal aspects of our air, water and land, at times hold a redundancy in their words, they are not redundant in the spirit of the care of Mother Earth.

I get it.

Every human is entitled to their opinion. And some opinions are rolled into a law of the land. Laws of the land. As it should be. Unequivocal trust in the representation of those who walk the land is never complete. Unequivocal trust in those who hold power over our lives is even less than trustworthy.

The power hungry take from those ambiguously.

Maybe, just maybe because they lost their minds and wanted to share that with us. The peons. However, share they did. But not the wealth. The cost. And the less, least of these lost more than their “fair” share.

What it eventually will come down to is a steward who says.

No.

No more.

Stop.

Stop it.

Mother Earth is home.

Mother Earth does not see privilege. Lack of access to see Mother Earth and its beauty is not solely for the privacy of the plane hopping person who loves ketchup. Fair to say the policies and practices have not helped those that walk the streets daily with no place to go and all day to get there. No roof to shelter them from the systemic-ness of the now current madness.

It is systemic.

The problem.

With the humans

And their lack of regard for true and deeply held beliefs.

Unfortunately and oftentimes they choose to hedge them.

It is systemic.

The problem.

Of power.

Always has.

Always will be.

Until someone says:

“No”,

”Stop it”.(lk)
