Bryan came up to me at school today, it's the last day of my senior year in highschool, and he asked me if I wanted to go to the cabin this weekend by the lake with him and some of mine and his friends. Me and Bryan have been dating since the seventh grade. We are so happy together and I can't wait for our future together, so of course I said yes, I always want to be able to hang out with him when I get a chance. He told me he would pick me up after school tonight at my house and to be ready. The day flew by so fast, i didn't even realize we only had thirty minutes of school left. Me and my friends walked home after school together and we were talking about what we were gonna do this weekend, but all I could think about was Bryan and our future together now that I'm out of highschool. When I finally made it home I did not hesitate to start packing.
When I finished packing I got a text from Bryan that said he was on his way and that when we got to the cabin he had a very special surprise for me. I was so excited but I was very nervous because I hate surprises. When Bryan picked me up I was so scared of what the surprise was. I could not get it out of mind, what was it gonna be? A present? Did he find something out and want to tell me? I hate not knowing what it is. The whole car ride I was just thinking about it, and every so often I would turn over to Bryan and asked him to tell me, he would tell me no every time.
We finally made it to the cabin and all of my friends and his friends were waiting there. They all had finished unpacking and were just hanging out on the couch. Bryan took me up to our room and we both unpacked. After we finished I walked onto the balcony and looked at the mazing view of the lake and the forest we had. I definitely realized that I was the luckiest girl to be here with my amazing boyfriend and friends, with this amazing view, and nothing could possibly go wrong at this point. We went down stairs to join everyone on the couches in the living room. They were all talking about their last day of highschool and their futures. Everyone had just finished eating their snack and everything and Rosie decided that we should play a game and everyone was down because we had nothing else to do at the moment. So we went on the back patio and tried to find out what game to play. Tommy suggested we play hide and seek, but Bryan said how about truth or dare. That's when everybody got more interested because we loved truth or dare with friends.
The sun was setting and it looked so pretty on the lake right now. People took their turns, first it was Rosie, and then Tommy, and then Bryan, and so on. Once it came my turn Bryan was asking me. He looked at me and asked, “Truth or Dare my love?” I sat there and thought for a second and finally responded with, “Dare, and make it a good one.” He looked at his friends and then looked at me in my eyes and said, “I dare you to follow me.” So of course I trusted him and I followed him. He started walking down the pier and all of our friends were following us. When we made it to the end our friends had stopped after us, they were just watching as I was confused on what was happening. Bryan looked at me and said, “Now it's your turn to ask me.” I looked at him all confused and said, “Truth or dare?” He said, “Truth.” I then asked him, “What's going on?” He looked at me and said, “Don't worry about it you will find out, now it is my turn to ask you.” He looked me deep in my eyes and whispered to me, “You know I love you right?” I looked at him and said, “Yes! Of course! Always! Why?” He then took both my hands and said, “Truth or dare?” I looked at him and then at my friends and back at him, I said, “Dare.” He then looked at me, pulled a small box out of his pocket, went down on one knee and said, “Elizabeth Marie Powell, I love you so much and you mean the world to me! I can't wait for our future together and for us to make a family. Now I dare you to marry me.” He opened the small box and there was an engagement ring. It was so beautiful, I could not believe my eyes. I started crying, and so did my friends, they could not believe what was happening. Rosie said, “If you don't say yes I will.” I looked down at Bryan who was still on one knee and knew this was the beginning of our future together. He then finally stood up and looked me in my eyes. I then shouted, “YES!!” He kissed me and we were hugging right there on the end of the pier just staring at the sunset with the lake. I was so happy.
He put the ring on my finger and that's when I told everyone to hold up. I looked at Bryan and said, “This is where our future begins, but first I have something serious to tell you…” Everyone was looking at me all confused, and Bryan said, “What is it baby girl, you know you can tell me anything.” I looked at him and said, “I'M PREGNANT!!” Everybody started jumping up and down. Bryan looked me in my eyes and asked, “Are you serious right now?” I nodded my head and the biggest smile got on his face. He knew this is where it all started and it was an amazing start. He got down on his knees and kissed my stomach.
We all went inside and started cheering, we called my parents and told them what's going on, and then we called his parents and explained everything. They were all so excited. We finally went to bed. And I know this is where my life begins and I'm so happy with who's all in it and who's going so far. I am now engaged to the best man in the world, the love of my life, my highschool sweetheart, and he is also the father of my child. We are gonna be so happy together.

Hi, Jayda I liked this tale, it was full of excitement and kept the reader wondering. I like how it was written as a youngster would speak. I had a few minor concerns with the grammar at first (Me and Bryan) as opposed to Bryan and I, yet we do have to allow for the language of the country and the age of the character. All in all a lovely story Wel done
