Jobey.

Took a long walk.

He was trying to “figure things out”. Although just a young boy in this world, he wished to bring peace about the world we live in.

Jobey was a person with an old soul who lived life with a “big picture view.” He obsessively often wondered. He often asked hard questions. He wondered silently as he walked and wondered when hard answers bring about awakened and meaningful change.

Hard questions:

”Why?”

Why do bad things happen to good people?

Why do good things happen to bad people?

”How?”

How does one person go about making the world a better place?

How do groups of people come together for good?

”Who?”

If everyone is “doing it”, do I have to go along?

As just a kid, can I stand alone and still make a peaceful difference in this big, big, big world?

”What?”

What do I do, to bring about change?” Loot, Riot, Scream?

What if I remain silent in the face of adversity?

”Where”

Where do I begin?”

Where do I go for help?”

”When”

When do I begin to help others?

When will I know if true change occurs?

Jobey became obsessed with thinking about all things “Peace.”✌🏻

With the childlike mentality of a curious and anxious believer, Jobey jumped right in. Almost manic. Jobey was just a child. A strong child who believed in goodness. He just did not know the best ways to bring about the change he wished to see in the world.

So. He watched, learned and listened—the good stuff. Dark desires would never enter his thoughts, mind, words and actions. Even if and when it was what he saw. On the screen. The big screen. The small screen.

Jobey decided to:

Love your neighbor as yourself.

Love your brothers and sisters as yourself.

As he walked along this new path, strange and oftentimes contrary answers presented to him. Things he wondered aloud, although stayed silent. Jobey realized there, when he chose to draw a line in the sand of his existence, that the fine line he chose to cross would very often leave him

Standing alone.

And.

He was ok with this. So. He walked on.

Walk on.

Almost obsessively, at times.

After all, Jobey had a world to save. Jobey knows we are all keepers of our earth. Not owners of its bounty. He possessed an almost obsessive position in the fact that injustice tears our world apart. In some areas of the world and word, he asked himself harder questions, with some harder truths.

Jobey took “No” for an answer. Silently. He decided, to walk the walk of peace and if others followed in his capable footsteps,

Life is good.

He made a conscious choice— to walk this new fine line carefully, honestly and with goodness at the center of his being, his existence. He knew there would be challenges ahead. He drew in and in his faith when confronted with aimless rules meant to punish in the interest of division and obscurity.

Expressions and expressive language. Quiet. Regard. Peace. Even in the middle and midst of all encompassing confusion.

Just then, he remembered a school lesson that came into mind:

The fine line.

He wondered silently if this concept included:

”Possession is nine-tenths of the law.

”Obsession is nine tenths of the law?”

”Confusion is nine-tenths of the law?”

”Weakness is nine-tenths of the law?”

”Perception is nine-tenths of the law?

So many questions. So little time. Such a big world to change. He must be careful to figuratively and literally be fair and equal. Equality is one of the reasons this great big world is in a state of confusion, after all.

In history class he recalled a lesson. About meaningful change. The opposite of division and inequality. The kind that reduces hate to a state of peace, inacceptance of looting, rioting and hurt. Inclusive change meant changing the conversation to peace and prosperity for me and for thee.

Do as I say, not as I do. The big and small screens scream the opposite right now. The best thing to do? Ignore. Read. Remember. The faces may be changing. The lesson remains the same.

Love your neighbor as yourself.

Love your brothers and sisters as yourself.

How? Remembering the good.

In 1852, a loan translation was coined. By Ernst Forstemann. A productive process of historical linguistics, language change, and social interaction. Jobey’s next “move” must be one of equality and significant change for all to see peace in the world.

A tall order.😣

Jobey would not back down.

Life is not fair.

Jobey would continue the fight for peace.

”Word!”

Changing the conversation means not being selfish—analyzing and re analyzing our personal motivations in relation to the persons we love.

Reanalysis of a word’s history or original form can affect its spelling, pronunciation, or meaning. This frequently seen in relation to “loanwords” or words that have become archaic or obsolete.

Bring it on! Jobey thought. Piece of cake. Jobey received an “A” is history class. This would not be as difficult as he thought.

Or would it.😳

Peace takes time.

It takes your time.

It takes my time.

He became obsessed. Jobey would NOT, would not subscribe to the “sparrowgrass” ways of the current state of the world.

No. Nope. No. Nope. No. Nope. No. Nope. No. Nope.

He walked in rhythm as he whispered to himself.

He remembered. “Possession is ten points of the law., which is credited as derived from the Scottish expression,”possession is eleven points of the law, and they say there are but twelve.”

Ugh.

What DOES this really mean?

Prove it.

Derivatively.

Uti possidetis—as you possess so may you continue to possess.

The pig.

The cow.

Until eaten, of course.

Ugh.

Again.

”Confusion is nine-tenths of the law.”

Jobey thought.

The fine line principle.

Seek the help of an expert?

He believed the true meaning lies someone not on the screens of our existences.

In recess.

The recesses of our souls.

When opportunity presents to knock someone down, or knock on their door and extend a helping hand,

Love your neighbor as yourself.

Do not punch them in the face.

Love your brothers and sisters as yourself

Do not knock them down for personal gain.
