Love Shot

Meria, do you know where my clothes are? Like I have no idea where they are . Like at all.  Uh what's the deal, I mean do you have  something? Meria asked in a  sassy tone. Yes Meria, I have a date remember. Which just happens to be today. Bye the way, what time is it? She said with a sort of  annoyed tone but lastly asked calmly. You should ask someone about that? Meria asked. I’m asking. She took a pause. Who else would I be asking except you. You are the only one in the room and I live by myself.  Why are you so worried about a date you can always go on another one. Meria said. Yeah I can always go on another one but what's the fun in missing a date and not getting a chance to cause confusion. She said, giving a smirk looking smile.  Then went to the bathroom. So what are you planning on wearing exactly? If you tell me you are wearing a dress I will knock your head clean off. Blood everywhere you hear me. Meria said. Okay I get it. She went out of the bathroom and went to her closet and took a set of clothes. And came out looking, well we really didn’t get to see her appearance. Do I look okay?She asked. Yeah, I mean yes you look great. Really great. She said stammering. And my makeup. She said. Yes everything is okay. Poor guy. Meria told her with a smile and lastly whispered. Then both left the apartment and went different ways. Arriving at a cafe where her date is. We see that starting from the bottom of her feet to the top of her head, she is wearing open toe medium high black heels with a small thin ankle choker, skinny jeans, a mixture of blue and green short sleeve turtleneck, and a long korean drama coat reaching just below her knees. Her hair, black, short, and thick curly which was very shiny. Skin looked like dark chocolate. At the cafe parking lot her date came in after she went into the cafe but he went to the bathroom first before sitting down.  She sat down at a table close to the window and decided to order before her date came. Server, can I order something? She asked. What is your order, the waiter asked. Can I have the strawberry smoothie and egg and bacon sandwich, please and thank you, She asked the server.  Then her date who was in the bathroom came in front of the where the cash register is and he announced something more like asked everyone saying, Hi everyone sorry for disturbing your morning. Um my name is Roger Elask and my date is Lian Castine. If you are Lian Castine can you please raise your hand? The girl turned around and raised her hand giving him a smile and wave. Roger came over and sat down and faced his face forward asking, are you really Lian Castine? She looked at him and said, yes I am and didn’t you look at my profile picture or did you think it was too good to be true? Did you think I was catfishing you or something? Roger looked at Lian and he moved his jaw back and pressed his lips together giving an awkward small upside down smile. I am guessing from your expression this was your way of introducing yourself, Lian said. Roger hummed for a yes. The server came and placed Lian’s Strawberry smoothie and her egg and bacon sandwich on the table. Roger said, oh you already ordered. I am guessing I should order something. Um before you leave server and I would like a veggie burger and a cup of soda. Lian moved her head and eyebrow up giving him a stern look. After the server left she told him, you forgot to say please and thank you. Roger said, is it necessary. And Lian said, actually it's not necessary but it's at least polite and shows that you appreciate what they are doing.  Roger covered his mouth with his right hand with his index finger positioned over his upper lip and the rest below his lower lip. Then he said, I am sorry. Lian said, well why are you telling me sorry. When the server comes back you should tell her thank you for the food. She then gave him a gentle smile and started to eat her egg and bacon sandwich. For every bite she took she took a sip of her smoothie. Good for balance in digestion, she said. The server came with Roger’s order of a veggie burger and soda. And he told the server, Thank you for the food. And the server said you are welcome. She left with a smile on her face. Was that so hard, Lain murmured.  Did you say something? Roger asked. Lian said nothing. It’s now 11 going to 12’ o clock and their date is coming to an end. Lain and Roger stood up and Lain went to the register to pay for the meals. But Roger insisted on paying instead. Lian looked at him and continued going. Roger told her thank you as they went outside. Outside Lian turned and looked at Roger and apologised for scolding him over saying thank you. He said, It’s okay. I should have said thank you anyway. Did you come with your car and is it okay for me to drop you off wherever you are going to. Lian said,Yes, I mean have a car, but thanks for the offer though. Both went to their cars. As Lian went to her car she called her friend Meria and told her everything. So what did you think of him, Meria asked. I think he’s weird but good weird.  He’s okay. If I was to go out on a date with him again. Well I don’t know. I wouldn’t want to go because I am not looking for a relationship but at the same time I want to see if we could work. By the way did I mention he’s weird but good weird. Meria sighed and said, yes this is the second time you’ve said so. Well he’s good and weird. In Roger’s car he was talking to himself and he said, I sort of like her but I definitely wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with her. She seems more like a good friend. He got out of his car and went towards Lian’s car and knocked on her window. She rolled down her window. Then he asked her for her number.
