“The devil made me do it!” Bolster replied.

My doubts overwhelmed my better nature and the whispers became a scream of “Stop it”. Overpowering.

Bolster felt buttressed😊by the unwavering support, he felt.

Why? Because folks were gunning for Bolster. Any arsenal of excuses and reason held within his holster, he called it the “Bolster Holster” was becoming quite dwindled in all the corruption and obstruction.

In reality.

There were only weak matches for Bolster.

Weak matches. Ancillary, corroborative only to the extent of “hearsay.” As in, “ I heard him say this or that. I heard her say that or this.” Rumor on the street, is………”

In the end. The most important of support, built on unwavering experience was that of

Moral Support.

Bolster thought, all the rest is swell, yes. But without the morals to back the actions, there are only shallow and empty,

Reactions.

Like a good pair of tight hose, those in it for the long haul of shared experiences are simply the brace and reinforcement needed.

No questions asked.

You see.

The enemy in the room or out of the room? Inside or outside?

Doubt.

It is ok. To not be completely ok.

It is better to rely on the reliance of the safety net that clicked.

With you.

In Bolster’s particular case. The story was a long one. The connections were few.By God’s grace and Jesus’s mother, Mary. Love can be borne again under the direst of situations and circumstances.

No character assasination is allowed when the shield of protection is felt. Deeply felt. There is no negotiation. No coincidence. On the waviest waves and with the sharpest of the arrows, the pokey pellets, rocks and stones, and immense stoppages and delays all slung in Bolster’s direction.

Constantly. Daily. Hourly. Minute by Minute.

Every step taken.

Every mile traveled.

Turn the channel?

If you so choose.

Which channel?….😂🖥️📺……

The channel of peace?

Gone. But never forgotten.

Make me a channel of your peace?

Yes!!✌🏻

Where He goes I will follow with grace and love.

And.

No doubt.

Well, maybe a little.

The channel of peace runs only through Him. It is not nor ever clogged, blocked or broken.

His path is not blocked with money grubby fingers and innuendo. Slaps in the face so hurtful, the only reaction is

Numbness.

Rest assured the nicey nice tactics only delay the truth. Another set up to lob a grenade with hurtful information only for “Gotcha” mentality.

Sad. Really.

”Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produces the righteousness of God.” James 1: 19-27.

Why?

Plain and Simple.

Jesus’s Mom did not like when people hurt others.

As apologies may go, an insincere one is better than none at all.

Cloggage and stoppage will most assuredly insue.

Doubt hides deep somewhere in all humans. It comes down to what we have and what we do with it. If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, AND to keep oneself unspotted from the world. (dk)

James tells us. James tells us that there are times when listening seldom occurs. We seldom listen when we are angry, want to punish the person speaking, when we don’t suspend our opinion, we aren’t focused on the other person or we don’t make time.(dk)

It takes your time.

It takes my time.

Bolster knows this.

Bolster wants this.

Knows the formula. For listening. To improve hearing. Once the formula is embedded. the hearing can occur.

The first ingredient?

Humility.

Please remember the difference, the differences between humility and humiliation. There is a fine and dangerous line.

A fine and dangerous line.

The second ingredient is not a mix. Of this or that. Or that or this.

Focus.

Third. Get the enemy, the doubt, and the perspective. Any way. But get it. That way the enemy does not seem so gigantic ally enormous.

Fourth. Visualize. Make “it” not about “me”. And.About He.

Fifth. Repeat. What you heard.

Huh? Yes. Hard of hearing is an epidemic today.

Lastly. Ask questions. aka/ “Q and A.”

Most of all. Curiosity may have killed the cat.

Why? Disingenuousness is a contagion. Grows insidiously with every waking day, every lie, every innuendo, every victim blame moment of lack of ownership and accountability. Rules for thee but not for me.

One of our greatest US freedom fighters, Abraham Lincoln was a great man because he knew how Bolster felt. Knew Bolster was feeling depleted.

No hyperbole in his bright and brilliant mind.

”They say I tell a great many stories. I reckon I do; but I have learned from experience that plain people, take them as they run, are more easily influenced through the medium of broad and humorous illustration than in any other way.”

Lincoln was a great communicator because he understood the communication model.

(No kids! not that model🧝🏻‍♀️)

The communication model. He listened well. Taught lessons through stories and parables. Used many great analogies. Asked a lot of questions.

He was a great example to follow. Lincoln himself took these lessons from scripture. He was only following the example of Jesus.

Mary, Jesus Mother, would be proud. Lincoln knew that when communicating the message must break through the barriers. Then. Getting the feedback to KNOW it was understood.

The struggle to communicate is one of life’s constant barriers. As Bolster experiences. Did you know? Gender seems to be the most difficult barrier for us to overcome. (dk)

Why?

There are significant differences in how men and women communicate. How men and women process information and communicate.(dk)

It helps to really care about another. Sometimes. The transmission is dropped. Like a hot potato into the lap of another only to burn them and cause harm. Doubt explodes right there, alongside the spud mess— in the moment—and on down the line.

Bolster has learned that art of distraction. And is not afraid to confront that which is not fair.

Of course. Life is not fair. Who we surround ourselves with is a testament to who we are. Can become.

The Old Testament.

The New Testament.

Some of the messages, overtime have changed. Reworded. Some may become skewed— staticky, sticky, even. The main message remains the same.

Good grows good.☺️

The Good News! When built on a strong foundation weakness grows into strength when shared in the best way possible. With proper voices and good listening skills leading the way. 🤓
