It.

Practice makes perfect.

It.

A lot comes down to.

It.

Who wants “it” more.

Then.

What they are willing to do to get “it”.

Person specificity. Special needs. And all the in between options.

Aren’t we all just so “special”.

The landscape and playing fields are “leveling” at rapid paces. Where will you be? Where will you be standing? Up or down. Falling all over yourself🫵🏻?

Or.

Chasing after your dreams.

Running them down even?

Mowing them down….

Left behind.

Left field😏

Sooooooooooooooo.

How bad DO you want “it”.

Fearful of missing out of it, out on “it” so much. The wheeling, the dealing, the sophisticated stealing.

Quite Revealing.

Wouldn’t you say?

Ahhhhhh.

Rejected.

The Great Apostasy. The Great Commision. Foundationally, there is a world of difference. Secure foundations breed, security. He gives us options every minute of everyday.

The difference?

The differences.?

Yes.

Exactly.

Playing dirty is playing dirty. “It” may separate the men from the boys. “It” also separates the mean from the better-souled.

Throughout history there have been many times when more people chose wickedness than righteousness. When this happens, people often live without prophets or priesthood authority for a time. (cojc).

He. Loves us all equally.

We. Do not know how to do this, like Him.

What do we do?

Drag around our tool boxes for others to see. For others to see our bright and shiny tools. Oh. How sharp they are. Oh. How sharp are we. Oh. I will stand in the way of you because you stand in the way of me.

Round and round and round it goes. Where it stops nobody knows.

Who will be the one to save us. The Savior? Where is He anyway, when I need Him. We think, because we are complaining about being the last in line.

What we fail to do, so many times, is to see He reveals Himself to us all day, every day. He reveals Himself in patterned goodness throughout our whole lives.

And how do we thank Him?

We ignore His commandments.

We ignore His outreached hand. To take ours and make a choice to

Get real.

He is all inclusive.

We.

Not so much.

”And the time comeths that he shall manifest himself unto all nations, unto Jews and also unto the Gentiles; and after he has manifested himself unto to Jews and also unto the Gentiles, then he shall manifest himself unto the Jews, and the last shall be first, and the first shall be last.” (Nephi 13:42)

Further. And. Quite inclusively,

”Graft in the branches; begin at the last that they may be first, and that the first may be last, and dig about the trees, both old and young, the first and the last; and the last and the first, that all may be nourished once again for the last time.” (Jacob 5:63)

Sooooooooooo.

How bad you want “it”. ?

The bigger question all along may be.

”Do you know what you want?”

Be first in line? The back of the line is for losers.?

Not according to His plan.😃

Thank God.

Yet. Along the way we fight tool and nail to prove how right we are. How wrong you were. The fight. Is the plan he uses for us to awaken, wake up that it is only by His grace and His grace alone, we are we ever given another chance. To get “it” right.

Not even a lottery ticket can give us these odds.🎲♟️Not all the wheeling and dealing in the world can offer us the odds He gives us freely and free of charge everyday.

Overestimation of ourselves, our own importance,

Just plain dumb. One cannot place an accurate price on unawareness.

Draw a line in the sand.

Yep.

Perhaps, by some great miracle, you will begin to see the beautiful etching of your name in the tiny granules. While walking alone quietly, and finally listening to hear His great message for your life.

A Name in the Sand

By Hannah Flagg Gould

”Alone I walked the ocean strand;

A pearly shell was in my hand:

I stooped and wrote upon the sand

My name—the year—the day.

As onward from the spot I passed,

One lingering look behind I cast;

A wave came rolling high and fast,

And washed my lines away.

And so, methought, ‘twill shortly be

With every mark on earth from me:

A wave of dark oblivion’ sea

Will sweep across the place

Where I have trod the sandy shore

Of time, and been, to be no more,

Of me—my day—the name I bore,

To leave nor track nor trace.

And yet with Him who counts the sands

And holds the waters in His hands,

I know a lasting record stands

Inscribed against my name,

Of all this mortal part has wrought,

Of all this thinking soul has thought,

And from these fleeting moments caught

For glory or for shame.”

So. How bad do you want “it”?

What would you do to get “it”?

What do you think you are missing out on?

Tough love.

Tougher love.

His love?

Higher love.

We understand so little. But think we know so much.

We are the know it alls of all knowers.

Yet we forget one simple act of kindness can move a mountain,

Yep.

Yes.

And. Yes.

Authenticity doesn’t lie. Leave the run on explanations for the other guy to finish. Would you even know “it” if you got “it.” or thought you got “it”? How would you know, “it”.

Can’t get no satisfaction. I try. I try. I try. Perhaps, tennis is not really the game for you.🙂 Your game.

In the end. “It” does matter if you win or lose. And. How you play the game.

Really. “It” does. Maliciousness and malice are always on the same team. And liars know what team they are on, too. They have been playing the tired old game for oh so long.

Try a new approach? To “it” with sprinkles of the best of the best of the old of the orders.

Maybe.

One never really knows. Man plans. God laughs. At our plan for the day in order to get “it”. After all, the first may be last and the last may be last. The what would you do with “it”.

Being first is overrated. Right?

I dunno.

When you find out please gimme a ring. In the meantime, I will just wait patiently. Someone’s may be ringing off the hook. That is ok—better to play the waiting game than to be last in line in service of a mean-spirited malicious individual.

Wait.

Yield.

Repeat.

Revealing and the reveal show up in the darndest of places and spaces. Where will you be standing when “it” comes your way? Some folks do want “it” more, will do anything to get “it”.

Hopefully, if and when “it” comes their way.

They’ll know what to do with “it.”
