Inspirational Kids Teens & Young Adult

Disclaimer.

Right off the bat.

In no way does this piece advocate drinking.

Drinking of: A magic potion, seltzer, notion or potion. Especially a “magic” potion. We do not support or advocate any recommendation to those under the legal drinking age.

Chances are good it may not be enforced anyway. Will be triangulated in a million different ways leading to a dizzying array of disappearing stories, images, pictures and memories. As well as tax relationships beyond normal measure.

If memory serves me correctly, of course.

And. And Further. The money making prospects are just too great. Too enticing. Too tempting. Too…………fill in the blank………………………………………………

It has been said. “There’s no truth like the drunken truth.”

And coming from a self described light weight. I second the motion to deny the magical potion notion.

Not one human likes to admit their shortcomings and goings. So. Where does that leave the “rig”. The smoking gun? The smoking gun evidence. Of slishing and sloshing, grogging and blogging? Fogging and Dogging someone.

Where does that leave the “deal”. The money moves. The changing of the hands. The Wheeling. The Dealing.

Great question.

Let’s make a deal?

Did you, “try to make a deal”

At all costs?

At the expense of another?

A child, even.

Shame on you.

Were you “refused a deal”.

The deal.

The opportunity to wheel and deal.

Took matters into your own hands.

Into your own dramatic hands.

Shame on you again.

However.

Fool me once, shame on you.

Fool me twice, shame on me.

Indeed.

It has also been said there are three truth tellers.

Of which there are varying versions.

And they are:

Only three types of people tell the truth: kids, the drunk and the angry.

The truth is told by children, fools and drunken men.

Children and drunks always tell the truth.

Even worse: When people don’t tell you the truth what they really are saying is they don’t value you or their relationship with you, enough to be honest.

I love listening to lies when I know the truth.

Now. For the kids, angry adults and liars:

Alcohol interferes with the brains connections from the ventral striatum and prefrontal cortex and as a result it interjects on the part of the brain that regulates impulsive behavior. the more one drinks the more dopamine is released in the body. People are aware, but just do not care about what they’re are doing.

Feel free to check my work here. Check my homework. Check my facts. To see if they make truthful sense. To you.

I’ve got nothing to hide.

Sooooooo.

Say what you need to say.

Indeed.

What say you?

There is so much to unpack. Sometimes.

Who wants to bother with that task?

Who will carry the baggage. The burden. It has been noted in “Truth and the Magic of “Is”. 1/2005. Both the Correspondence Theory of Truth and the Redundancy/Performative Theory of Truth appear to be unquestionably correct and yet each seems to be consistent with the other.

As a result we have a puzzle.

The way out of this dilemma is to be found by taking a closer look at the origin that “is” and its cognates play in the structure of the standard statement. Once this is done it can be seen that both theories are compatible with one another. (Cam)

Compatibility lends itself that two things can exist or occur together without conflict. Capable of existing together in harmony. Adaptable, appropriate, consistent, suitable, accordant, and congenial.

My head hurts. I think I need a drink. To deal with this verbage. Because I have absolutely no idea what “it” is trying to say. Well. For one. “It” is not trying to say anything.

At all.

Collusion Confusion?

Maybe. I do not know. What do you have in mind. What do you have on your mind. What is your goal is. Today. Tomorrow. The next day.

Collusion: Secret or illegal cooperation or conspiracy especially in order to cheat or deceive others. (noad)

Confusion: Lack of understanding; uncertainty, bewildered.

Bewildered and anger sometimes go hand in hand. Like a small child hanging on to their parents hand when they are not ready to

Let Go.

Bewitching? Magical?

Indeed.

Bewitching: Extremely attracted to something, or completely controlled by something.

Hmmmmm. Now. We are getting somewhere.

Attracting. Tempting—Like a magic potion. A magical potion. Alluring, Arresting, Honey Trap, Tempting, Catnip, Click. Bait.

Cat Nip: An herb whose smell very is attractive to cats. A cat.🙃

Click bait: Articles, photographs, etc. on the Internet that are intended to attract attention and encourage people to click on links to particular website.

As in: Gotcha.

Caughtcha.

Looking.

Disclaimer: We can all be photo shopped. 😳😍. Oh the magical wonders of the photo shop, the make up, the padding. What you, what I actually may hear?

The pressure.

The problem? There are many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many.

You get my drift? You get my drift. There is not one person who can defy or deny gravity. “It” eventually catches up with you. Might as well just sling it over your own shoulder and move a long.

Your bag. Your baggage. Your “buggage”. Projection is dicey business, at best. Excuses are simply lies rolled into bands of stretched substance of use and abuse. Reasons have a little more weight because word on the street is they have some substance. More substance. One can only magically hope.

I suppose.

Bewildering. For sure. Magical. Nope. Confusing. Sometimes. Tempting. Often. Impulsive. Maybe.

A seat at the table with like-minded individuals: Priceless. Potionless. A value beyond measure. By the grace of the Most High, we will have the opportunity. To grow old. Why would we want to hide it? Deny and defy the right to a full life, a life well lived?

Hey. Stuff happens.

You look good.

I look good.

Blah, Blah. blah.

Most of us are knee deep in our own level of deny and defy. Potioning this, motioning that. Until we forget. Choose to forget. Rack our brains to remember. May be even choose to conveniently confuse our neighbor, friends, and family.

In the end.

There is no magic pill. No miracle drug. Pain is an indicator that we feel.

Why numb and dumb that down. When you need an honest answer:

Ask a kid.

Ask a fool.

Ask a drunken person.

Somewhere in there is the answer. The honest answer. The Truth.

“In Vino Veritas”

“The wine-cup is the little silver well. Where truth, if truth there be doth dwell.”……..

“Billy Shake”

/aka William Shakespeare.
