Mary Farrell facilitates three Creative Wring Groups, one on Zoom for AsIam, an Irish Society for those with Autism, and two Groups locally on the North Coast of Northern Ireland. She has been a member of CIEP, The Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, UK, and is the Consultant Creative Writing Facilitator for Impspired Press, based in Lincoln, UK. Three Collections of her varied pieces have been published, It’s like Walking a Tightrope 2021, Out of the Chrysalis 2022 and A Phoenix Still Rising 2023. Springboards: a Creative Writing Manual for Beginners through to Facilitators, and The Kingdom, her debut Collection of short stories, the first part of The Circle Trilogy, were both published in October 2022. The second part of the Trilogy, Maybury, will be published in November 2023, and the last segment, New Aysgarth, in November 2024. She is the Editor of three North Coast Writers Anthologies, Irish Hares and Seahorses, 2022, Spun Yarns and Woven Words, 2023, and Sea Spray and Woodland Glades due in 2024, all published by Impspired Press . She has performed her work on radio, the stage and at festivals, and has had various pieces of Prose and Poetry published in Magazines and Anthologies, both locally and internationally.
